careMESH National Provider Directory FHIR Implementation Guide

These pages represent the “source of truth” for the FHIR implementation of the careMESH National Provider Directory.

The national provider directory stands on the shoulders of giants, and we are deeply in the debt of industry standard technologies that have made the directory possible. In particular, we have consulted (and in most cases remain compliant with) the following standards from the FHIR community:

• The core FHIR standard (R4b)
• The Davinci PDEX PlanNet Implementation Guide (STU1)
• The US Core (STU5)

In addition, where possible we have sought to comply with the
Validate Healthcare Directory project implementation guide, however we do not attempt formal compliance at this time until the project resumes.
